Sumitra Das ( age around 51 years ) is the most hardworking worker in our small Organization. She arrives for work one hour before our unit opens for work. She starts working on her own by cleaning and swabbing the entire premises. She ensures that the entire unit is spotlessly clean.
Sumitra has speech and hearing impairment since birth. Her husband also has speech and hearing impairment, he works in a press. They have four children, of whom the eldest has been adopted by their relatives. The other three children are going to school and we provide them a monthly scholarship (which is provided to all school going children of our disabled work persons ).
Sumitra is always ready to extend a helping hand to fellow workers. We feel that it is our good fortune that a wonderful worker like Sumitra is associated to our organization. We will always try to help Sumitra and her family in every possible manner to meet the challenges that life has to offer this brave wonderful lady.
